A Strong Delusion - Americans Flocking to Less than Conservative Candidates

English: Donald Trump speaking at CPAC 2011 in...
Is it a phenomenon, or is there something diabolical in play here.  Many Americans have chosen to support candidates that are way less than conservative and have records where they either cannot prove what they say is true, or have compromised along the way leaving a degree of doubt about whether or not they are really as conservative as they claim.

Americans don't seem to care anymore about values, and morals, they just want someone to fix what is broken and don't care if that person is a questionable individual or not.  It's like a strong delusion has come over many so-called conservatives in much the same way a strong delusion caused many people to vote for Obama twice.

They wanted a leader to bring them some real hope and some positive change and all they got was more misery and shortchanged.  Are some American voters making the same mistake again? Believing a lie told by a less than a conservative making claims that he may or may not live up too? This is a risk that I personally am not willing to take. I am not willing to gamble away my vote on a disingenuous reality TV star whose past screams liberal Democrat.

Why are people buying into what this guy say's and not supporting the real conservative candidate that is right behind him in the running? Don't they realize that if they support Ted Cruz they would get everything they want to be done, done?  Don't they know that Ted Cruz will do exactly as he said he would do, and there is no risk of Ted sliding to the left or becoming a would-be dictator?

A Strong Delusion has come over the people to again elect a candidate based on bling and flash rather than on solid conservatism and actions that prove it.  When they don't get exactly what they want and said candidate slides to the left and does not do exactly as he said, they will be eating a lot of crow, and will be blamed for the mess they have created by electing said candidate.

The Conservative movement and the Republican Party could be irreparably damaged by a Trump Presidency (said candidate).  He has already made some threats against the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan stating "If he doesn't do what I tell him to he will pay".  Exactly what does that mean?  Does Donald Trump even understand the balance of power that is supposed to be in place in order to maintain the checks and balances in our Government?

We may end up paying way more than we ever did with Obama if Trump wins the Republican nomination, and if he can beat Hillary Clinton in the general election which is up in the air as to whether he can or not?  I guess we will just wait and see how this plays out and hope for the best.

The lack of values and the lukewarmness of the Churchians in America is shining through very dimly I might add.  Have we really gone that far away from God and our founding that we no longer care anymore about moral values, and how they protect society from self-destruction?  The Salt and light is non-existent from many believers lives, and from their Churches.

Our Churches are Spiritually Powerless and full of False Converts just like Donald Trump who think they can get into Heaven some other way than through repentance and trusting Christ for Salvation. They are inoculated to the truth of the Gospel because they "believe in god" and attend Church now and then, or once a week, and throw twenty bucks in the plate thinking that God will remember their generosity on judgement day.

The Scripture is explicit that works do not save, and being a nice or good person cannot get you a place in Heaven. You must repent of your sin and turn to Christ accepting his sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins. Even Donald Trump must repent and be saved the same way, otherwise, he will be very shocked and upset to find out that he is not getting into Heaven, and that he is going to the other place from which there is no return.

As for me I am voting my convictions and values.  I am supporting Ted Cruz and will never vote for Trump, Rubio, or any other candidate.  #nevertrump
